HP Touchpad Android 2.21 system dump available

The HP Touchpad has been in the news since HP announced the drastic price drop last week. The Android community has been been eyeing this $99 dual-core tablet since then and an Android OS port has been in the talks for almost a week with some developers announcing their plans to do it.

We first met singhaldallas who posted a couple of videos bragging about his Android-powered Touchpad which he late on listed on eBay without sharing anything with our fellow Android developers. Thanks to our friends at Android Police, we now know that there is another person who claims to have another HP tablet with android 2.2.1 installed in it.  Its owner  jiwanish confirms that it is a test unit from Qualcomm’s innovation center and that he cannot download any apps or access the Android Market. And unlike singhaldallas, he has offered to “help” the devs at Rootzwiki.

The system dump is now available at Rootzwiki
