Honeycomb update for the Logitech Revue now rolling out

The Android 3.1 update for the Logitech Revue is starting to roll out today. This information was confirmed by both Google and Logitech. Starting today, all Logitech Revue will begin to receive the update. The new update includes an updated simplified design and interface, improved search, access to the Android Market, and much more.

Yesterday, a user on the Logitech forums posted a picture of his Revue unit after it received the update. A lot of people called the user a liar and claimed that his picture was photoshopped. I guess he was right after all.

With this update, all Google TV products should now be running on Android 3.1 Honeycomb. The Sony Internet TV products were the first to receive the update.

So, if you’re a Logitech Revue owner, be on the lookout for the update. You’ll be getting it any time now!
