Google shows off the Nexus 7 tablet in its first commercial

Today, Google released the first commercial for their new Nexus 7 tablet. The commercial features a father and son camping, along with their Nexus 7 tablet. In the commercial, the tablet is used to look up information, as a flash light, to read a book, play games, as a compass, to watch movies, and explore the world using Google Earth. While the commercial was playing, I kept thinking “wow, this guy sure is doing a lot with his Nexus 7 without a data connection”, only to find out that they were camping in their own back yard, where there’s probably a nice Wi-Fi connection available.

Check out the commercial below and let us know if you plan on getting a Nexus 7 tablet anytime soon.
