First live shot of upcoming Samsung Nexus Prime leaked

What do we have here? According to GSM Arena, the picture above is of the upcoming Samsung Nexus Prime, which is going to be running on the soon-to-be-announced next version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich. The above picture confirms the HD resolution on the massive 4.6-inch display. Also on the image, you can see that there are no physical buttons on the front of the phone. That is because Ice Cream Sandwich will have all buttons integrated into the OS, just like in Honeycomb.

Ice Cream Sandwich, the next version of Google’s Android OS, is going to combine the best of Gingerbread and Honeycomb to create one unified OS that will be used on both tablets and phones. Samsung and Google are set to announce both the new Nexus device and Ice Cream Sandwich on October 11 during Samsung’s Unpacked Event taking place at CTIA.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m very excited about this. Hopefully all the rumors about Verizon getting this Nexus device are true. If so, Verizon, SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!
