Facebook for Android updated with new camera and messenger icons

The Facebook for Android app received another update yesterday. The update, which is currently available in the Google Play store features bug fixes and new redesigned shortcuts for their camera and messenger portion of the app.

As you recall, Facebook updated its app a few days ago, making the overall experience slightly better. Unfortunately, it also added two icons to the app drawer that cannot be removed: a camera and messenger icon. Not only can’t the icons be removed, they also can be a little confusing.

The updated icons include a little Facebook icon, which will help users differentiate between the stock camera/messenger app and the Facebook ones.

If you haven’t already, head over to the Google Play store and update the Facebook for Android app.
