Cyanogenmod is now running on 500,000+ devices

CyanogenMod, the popular custom Android ROM has reached a big milestone. It is now installed on over 500,000 devices worldwide (view device installs by country). This 500,000 figure is across all devices and includes both official and unofficial versions. As of this posting, Cyanogenmod is running on 507,378 devices. 379,203 of those are official installs while 128,175 are unofficial installs.

Here is a breakdown of the top 5 devices running Cyanogenmod:

  • HTC Desire – 71,368 installs
  • HTC Evo 4G – 39,760 installs
  • Motorola Defy – 29,288 installs
  • Nexus One – 26,805 installs
  • Motorola Droid – 21,454 installs
