Check out JAY DVL’s IdeaL Theme for CM11

If you are familiar with CM11, then you have an idea of what a theme is. I currently use a OnePlus One which runs on CyanogeMod 11S. In my review of the phone, I talked about how there is a theme showcase app that allows me to preview themes before using them. Thanks to a post in Reddit, I discovered theme app made my XDA member JAY DVL, called IdeaL Theme. It is based on the design materials of Android L. Upon installing it, you will notice how clean and nice looking it is. I personally love the boot animation. Here are its features:

  • Minimalist.
  • Based on Material Design.
  • Themed Framework.
  • Themed SystemUI.
  • Animated Checkboxes.
  • Robot fonts from Android L Preview.
  • Android L Preview Ringtone, Notification and Alarm.
  • JAY DVL designed wallpapers.
  • Android Wear/L inspired bootanimation.
  • Some Moonshine style icons.

In addition, JAY DVL, also themed the calculator, Calendar, Contacts, Clock, Phone and more. If you’re looking to get that Android L feel before the official launch, we definitely recommend installing this theme. By the way, it is free. Hit the link below to download the APK file. Make sure you have your “Unknown Sources” checked in the Settings menu. Once you do that, go to Settings -> Themes -> Theme Packs. You can pick which features you want to have applied. Let us know how you like it and don’t forget to thank JAY.
