Budget Android tablet HP Slate 7 now available with Beats Audio for $170

HP Slate 7 Tablet

Announced back in February, the budget-friendly Android tablet HP Slate 7 is now on sale for $169.99. With this affordable price tag, the slate 7 could be a good tablet for first time Android users–or maybe for Beats Audio fans. Here is the list of specs:

  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • 1.6GHz ARM A9 dual-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 7-inch 1024 x 600 display
  • 8GB of internal storage with nicroSD expansion (up to 32GB)
  • 3-megapixel rear camera
  • VGA front camera
  • 3500 mAh battery
  • Beats Audio

These features aren’t really that bad if the Nexus 7 ($30 more) didn’t exist–oops did I just say that? Unless, HP decides to drop the price of the Slate 7 to around $130 or so. In case, you want to pull the trigger, hit the link below.
