The Nexus 6 is probably the most talked about phone in the Android community. Everyone, including myself, is excited about what it and about Android L. Last night, I posted about it being spotted in bus in the hands of a commuter. And I also talked about this dude who made a cardboard mockup to compare it to a Nexus 5.
Today, another Nexus enthusiast went farther and made wood mockup of the Nexus 6 (shamu) to show us what the device will feel and look like in real life. He used a 9mm plate and shaped it using measurements found from different sources online. It is definitely crazy how far some fans would go but I have to applaud ‘TonGi018’ for his efforts. This is the closest thing to the Nexus 6. In the photos, you can see how the handset compares to the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. You can also see that reaching the top left corner of the phone while holding it with one hand can be a fairly easy task for some (or maybe not).
The question is: Will this Motorola Nexus 6 in all of its 5.9-inch goodness be able to attract folks who like small phones? Previous rumors suggested that we could see 2 Nexus models in different sizes. We’ll find out soon. Stay tuned!
