AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD cruises through FCC

AT&T and Samsung announced the Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD at CES without giving us an actual release date. When released, this phone will be AT&T’s third variant of the Galaxy S II. As far as we know, the only difference between this phone and the OG Skyrocket is that it will sport a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display. Ma Bell could always change that though.

The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD has just stopped by the FCC, under model number SGH-I757. It features AT&T’s 850 / 1900 GSM, WCDMA II / V and 700 / 1700 LTE bands. We’re not sure if it will sport NFC radios though. According to the filings, there are two battery covers, one with NFC and one without.

So who’s impatiently waiting for the Skyrocket HD?
