AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II (original) Ice Cream Sandwich update leaked

With the ICS update for the Galaxy S II skyrocket leaking earlier today, many original GS II owners have been wondering if they’ll ever be able to get a taste of the new ROM before AT&T releases it in the “coming weeks.” You will have to again thank the folks at Rootzwiki because they once again did it by releasing a leaked Android 4.0 ROM for the Samsung I777.

Just like the ICS update for the international variant if the Galaxy S II, it looks like Sammy has kept their TouchWiz UI and packed it with most of Android 4.0 features. Impatient owners of the AT&T variant can install the file via Odin with fully configured USB driver. You will then see your Android OS updating to version 4.0.3. Although this update is reported to run smoothly, it is still a “somehow” official build of ICS. We advise you to read the instructions posted by RootzWiki before you do anything and just in case you aren’t sure, you could always wait for the official AT&T update.
