AT&T to double data allotment on shared plans starting tomorrow

If you consider yourself a heavy data user and are an AT&T customer, tomorrow may the day you have been waiting for. AT&T is going to run a promotion where it doubles its data allotment on its shared value plans starting tomorrow, September 28th and ending on October 31st. This offer is good for both new and current customers.

Perhaps, the best plan in my opinion is the $130 one. With 2 lines, you get unlimited talk and text along with 15GB of data per month. If you enroll in the new deal, your data limit jumps to 30GB. Any additional devices you may want to add will cost you $15 per month. These plans do not come with contract tied to them. In fact, you can bring your device and sign up if you’re new to the network. If you however already have a shared data plan, a simple phone call or drive to AT&T will get your data doubled.

I have one of those grandfathered plans (2 lines for $155) with the unlimited data – which throttles when I reach 5GB every month and I pay $30 for unlimited text. I am seriously considering jumping to a shared data plan. I will head to my local AT&T store tomorrow and let you know how it goes.
