AT&T announces the Sony Xperia TL with 4.6-inch HD display and 13-megapixel camera

Sony Xperia fans in the U.S., if you’ve been waiting for the Xperia T to make its way here, there’s some good news for you. Today, AT&T announced that it will be carrying the Sony Xperia TL. The Xperia TL is basically AT&T’s version of the Xperia T which was announced during IFA 2012 in August.

Key features of the Sony Xperia TL are its large 4.6-inch Reality Display, 1.6GHz dual-core processor, front and rear-facing cameras that are capable of capturing videos in high definition, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich with an upgrade to 4.1 Jelly Bean after launch, NFC, and much more.

One of the key features that AT&T wants you to know is the phone’s camera. The Xperia TL features a massive 13-megapixel camera that’s very fast. As a matter of fact, the phone is capable of snapping a pic from standby mode in as little as 1.5 seconds.
