Asus Transformer Prime heading to the U.S. on December 8, Taiwan December 1, according to Spokesperson

The guys over at Netbooknews have some information on the availability of the upcoming quad-core Asus Transformer Prime tablet. According to an Asus spokesperson and the people at NetbookNews, Asus is planning on launching the Transformer Prime tablet on December 1 in Taiwan with a U.S. launch shortly after on December 8.

The Asus Transformer Prime is currently available for pre-order at Best Buy and Tiger Direct. When launched in the U.S., the Transformer Prime will set you back $499 for the 32GB model and $599 for the 64GB model.

I guess we’ll soon be finding out if the Taiwan will be getting it soon.
