Following the footsteps of LG, ASUS wants the world to know about its upcoming Android smartwatch called the ZenWatch. They released a video of about 30 seconds to show what the watch will look like but without giving us too many details.
Folks who are familiar with ASUS’ Zen line of PC and laptops will tell you that the build quality and design are superb. We’re hoping that ASUS will carry the same type of craftsmanship to the ZenWatch. According to Droid Life, the price range could be in the range of $99-$149.
The ZenWatch is set to be unveiled on September 3 at the IFA Berlin. ASUS is going to stream the event live at 6:30 AM EST (10:30 AM GMT) via their Facebook page. The wearables war is definitely heating up and this could only be a good thing for the consumer. We’re hoping that Google and Android developers will be able to keep up and bring us a more polished Android Wear OS.
