Asus PadFone and TF700 tablet heading to Australia in July

According to recent postings on the Asus Australia’s Facebook Page, the company is getting ready to release both the Asus Padfone and the Transformer TF700 tablet in Australia sometime in July. Unfortunately, Asus didn’t make the announcement official by announcing actual release dates and pricing information.

Out of the 2 devices, the Asus Padfone is the most interesting out of the two. The PadFone consists of both a phone and a tablet. The phone docks into the tablet and its processing power is used to power the tablet. The phone features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, a dual-core 1.5GHz SnapDragon S4 processor, an 8-megapixel camera, Android 4.0, and more.

Just because the Padfone is the more interesting out of the two devices, that doesn’t mean that the Transformer Prime TF700 is to be forgotten. The TF700 is going be another quad-core tablet from NVIDIA with a full HD display that offers 1920 x 1200 resolution.

Since no official pricing or release date has been made, we’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we receive more information.
