[APK] Google Play Services receives new update to 6.1.71 with some UI changes

Google is at it again folks. Following the Play Store update yesterday, they’re now rolling out a new update to their Play Services app. The new version is 6.1.71 and so far there is no changelog.

Some of the changes is a new icon for the ‘Settings’ icon along with new L-Style’ checkboxes. Folks who are running the Android L preview on their Nexus devices are reporting darker colors and some hiccups here and there. The cause may be that this update is directed toward devices running lower Android versions.

If you’d like to go ahead and give the new 6.1.71 Play Services app a try, head to this link and let us know if you see something else.
