Android 5.0 Lollipop OTA update rolling out to Verizon’s Moto X (2014)

In case you missed it, Verizon and Motorola are rolling out an over the air update (OTA) to the new Moto X (2014). This isn’t the usual bug-squashing update folks because it brings Android 5.0 Lollipop and Material Design goodness. I can never stop saying how impressed I am with Motorola and the it speediness on delivering the latest and best Android experience to its customers.

The update version is 22.21.11.en.US and has a size of 678MB. It is recommended that you connect your Moto X to a stable WiFi connection to avoid any interruptions. In case you haven’t gotten the prompt to update, you can manually check for the update by going to Settings > About Phone > Software Updates. For the full changelog, visit Verizon (link below).
