If you’re a Galaxy S II owner on Rogers, there’s a sweet update waiting for you. Samsung and Rogers have gone ahead and released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for the Galaxy S II. The update, which brings Android 4.0.3 (instead of the latest 4.0.4), is available for you to install via Samsung’s Kies software. Unfortunately, there’s no OTA update available at the moment. To get the update, you will need to make sure that you have Samsung’s Kies software installed on your PC or Mac. Once installed, simply plug in your phone and follow the instructions.
For more information, you can check out the update instructions on Samsung’s website.
The Rogers Galaxy S II LTE update comes just a day after AT&T announced that it was finally rolling out the ICS update for its Galaxy S II. if you’ve updated to ICS on any of the above devices, let us know how things went by leaving a comment below.
