Android 4.0 Update for the Lenovo Thinkpad tablet coming in Q2

Lenovo is planning on upgrading their ThinkPad tablet to the latest version of Google’s Android operating system. The upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is going to be taking place sometime during the second quarter of the year.

News of the ICS update by Lenovo was announced by Lenovo on Monday. As of right now, the only tablet that has been upgraded to ICS is the Asus Transformer Prime, and that process wasn’t a smooth one.

The ThinkPad tablet, which was released back in July was marketed to businesses and currently runs on Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
