Android 4.0 ICS update now rolling out to the Xperia Mini and Incredible S

If you’re the owner of the HTC Incredible S or the Sony Xperia Mini, you might want to check your device for an update, an ICS update. The Android 4.0 upgrade of the HTC Incredible S comes just a few days after HTC released the update for some models of the HTC EVO 3D. The OTA update is whopping 250MB and brings Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich along with HTC Sense 3.6. This is the first HTC device that is getting upgraded with Android 4.0.4.

Sony, on the other hand, released the Android 4.0 ICS update for their Xperia Mini. The update is being released in batches, and unlike the OTA update for the Incredible S, the Xperia Mini will need to be upgraded via Sony’s PC Companion software. To see if the update is ready for your Xperia Mini, hit up the Source link below and search for your Sales Item number, an 8-digit number that identifies the country and software of your Xperia Mini. If your SI matches, you can fire up the PC Companion software and start the update.
