Android 4.0 ICS update now rolling out to the HTC Evo 3D in EMEA

If you’re an HTC Evo 3D user in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, you might want to check your device for an update. According to multiple sources, HTC is now rolling the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the Evo 3D in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Unfortunately, users with the phone on Sprint’s network in the U.S. are not so lucky.

The update, which is a whopping 300MB, brings Android 4.0 ICS along with HTC’s Sense 3.6 UI (the newer HTC One series features Sense 4.0). Although the update is available to those in the EMEA region, the update might not be ready for your device just yet. You can manually check for the update by heading to Menu > Settings > System updates > HTC software update > Check now.

Let us know if you received the update and what country you’re in! Sorry, Sprint users. Although you’re not included in this ICS update, we’re sure that HTC is working hard to make the update available to you by next month. After all, they did say that the Evo 3D would be getting its ICS update in June/July.
