Acer Iconia Tab A501 with HSPA+ arriving at AT&T on September 18 for $330 on contract

The Acer Iconia Tab A501, the HSPA+-capable version of the popular Honeycomb tablet is coming to AT&T on Sunday, September 18. The model that is going on sale is going to be the 16GB model and it will set you back $330 with a 2-year contract or $480 if you decide to buy it without a contract.

Unfortunately, the A501 will come with Android 3.0. Before you get all sad, a rep did confirm that the tablet would get Android 3.1 via an OTA update. But, unfortunately, no date was specified.

If you do decide to go with a 2-year contract, you will need to sign up for a data plan that will cost you $35 per month for the next two years. If you decided to go with a month-to-month plan, you can get a plan for as little as $15 for 250MB of data.

To get your Acer Iconia Tab A501, head over to your local AT&T store on September 18 or visit
