    Yes, it is now launched. You can try it out with Tap Tap Revenge 4, which is a great game, btw.

  2. Chuck, you’re getting that message because the Amazon AppStore app isn’t available on the Android Market. You also have to allow your phone to install apps from outside of the Android Market.

    To do that, go to settings > applications > and check the “unknown sources” box. This will allow you to install the Amazon AppStore app.

  3. @ncmacasl, go to the notification bar and click on the downloaded file. It should prompt you to install it. You have to make sure that your phone is configured to install non-market applications. To do so, go to settings > applications > and check the “unknown sources” box.

  4. Works great on the new stock Gingerbread build for the Droid X. If you haven’t done so already, make sure to check for system updates. There’s a goodie waiting for you.

  5. I’m pretty sure that WiFi-only versions will also be released. Hopefully Samsung learned from Motorola’s mistake with the Xoom.
