If you’re rocking an international version of the HTC One S, there could be some good news in the form of an update coming your way. According to reports out of Germany and the Netherlands, the popular One Series phone from HTC is currently in the process of receiving an OTA update that brings Android 4.0.4 (from Android 4.0.3) and HTC Sense 4.1.
The new HTC Sense 4.1 is said to fix some bugs and also bring speed improvements to the HTC Camera app on the One S. Also packed into the new sense are new features such as EA’s Gamebox gaming hub.

The European Imaging Sound Association (EISA) has awarded two Android-powered phones with awards in their mobile device category for 2012. Samsung took home the prize for best mobile phone of 2012 with its Galaxy S III and HTC took home the prize for best social media phone of 2012 with its HTC One S.
The EISA is an association composed of 50 special interest magazines from 20 different European countries. Each year they get together and give awards to cool tech products.

For those of who were wondering if your HTC One X, One XL, and One S would be getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, you no longer have to wonder. Although it was guaranteed that HTC would update its 2012 flagship devices to Android 4.1, they still went ahead and confirm to every one of their plans.

If you like your phones black and have passed on the HTC One S on T-Mobile simply because of its color, there’s some good news for you. The guys over at TmoNews have obtained some pictures of an all-black HTC One S, complete with T-Mobile branding. At the moment, the device isn’t being offered to consumers to purchase. Instead, it’s being offered to T-Mobile store reps as a prize for meeting certain sales goals with HTC devices. Just because it isn’t offered to consumers at the moment doesn’t mean that it won’t be in the future.
