WordPress for Android now available on the Nook Tablet and Kindle Fire

by Jonathan RadandeFebruary 10, 2012

If you run a WordPress-powered blog and own either a Nook Tablet/Color or an Amazon Kindle Fire tablet, there’s some good news for you. The popular blog content management system is now available for the Barnes & Noble tablets and Amazon’s Kindle Fire tablet.

We paid special attention to the post editor on theses devices, enhancing the layout to make it super simple to edit your post content in either landscape or portrait orientation. You’ll find everything there that you’d want in a WordPress app, including support for editing post content, adding media, viewing your stats, comment notifications, and more.

WordPress has been available on Android for quiet some time, this will mark the first time it’s available on these highly-customized versions of Android. The application allows you pretty much do everything the web-based version of WordPress allows you to do.

To download WordPress for your 7-inch Nook or Kindle Fire tablet, head over to either Amazon’s Appstore or Barnes & Noble’s Nook Store.
