Verizon’s New Moto X (2014) is here for $99 on contract


As we reported yesterday, the new Moto X for Verizon Wireless is now available. It will set you back $99 if you choose to go the 2-year contract route. This price is good on the black and white/Bamboo models which are the only variants that Big Red selling through their site. There is also the Verizon Edge option which lets you spread payments of $24.99 a month for 20 months. Otherwise, $500 is what you have to pay outright.

If you were looking to customize your own Moto X, you’d probably have to wait a little until it goes up on the Motorola site – could be later today. We’ll let you know. As a reminder, the new Moto X sports a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 13MP rear camera, 4G LTE capable (XLTE ready), 2,300 mAh battery, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and more.
