Future HTC products won’t be stuck at customs any longer. According to a statement released by HTC, the review process with US Customs and HTC devices, like the HTC Evo 4G LTE and HTC One X, is complete. All the devices that were being held have been released and HTC expects to soon be able to meet customer demand.
Here is HTC’s official statement on the matter:
HTC has completed the review process with US Customs and HTC devices have been released, as they are in compliance with the ITC’s ruling. Future shipments should continue to enter the US and we are confident that we will soon be able to meet the demand for our products.
Unfortunately, there still isn’t an official launch date for the HTC Evo 4G LTE. So far, some lucky customers who pre-ordered the device were able to finally get their hands on it, but that’s about it. Those who didn’t pre-order are still waiting to hear when they will be available.
The good news in all of this is that this whole customs mess is finally over. Soon, the HTC Evo 4G LTE and HTC One X on AT&T will be in stock and more people will be able to get their hands on one!
