Unreleased Motorola phone with slide-out QWERTY keyboard for Sprint spotted in the wild. Could it the Photon Q 4G LTE?

If you’re in the market for a smartphone with a full keyboard on Sprint, you might be happy to know that Sprint and Motorola are currently testing out a phone that could suit your needs. A picture of an upcoming Motorola phone with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard has surfaced, thanks to Android Central forum user Va1ha11a.

Not much is known about the unreleased phone. According to Va1ha11a, the phone is currently being tested. Based on the picture, we can tell that the phone is heading to Sprint (because of the Sprint Music Plus app), features a full QWERTY keyboard, and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (due to the on-screen navigation buttons).

Under the hood, not much is known. Now that Sprint is working on rolling out their 4G LTE network, it would be a good assumption that this upcoming phone would feature 4G LTE connectivity.

Design-wise, the device resembles the Motorola Photon 4G simply because of the straight corners.

Could this phone be the rumored Motorola Photon Q 4G LTE? Back in April, it was reported that Motorola and Sprint were working on a successor to the Photon 4G, and that it would include LTE. Could the Q in Photon Q 4G LTE stand for QWERTY? It makes a little sense.

I guess we’ll find out some more on this device sooner or later.
