TELUS, one of Canada’s top carriers, officially announced that they will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy Nexus on January 13. There was no word about how much it will be sold but we suspect it will be very similar to Bell and Virgin current offerings of $159.99 with a 3-year contract. Rogers and Fido will also launch the Gnex on Januray 13.
“Coming to TELUS on January 13th, the Android 4.0 powered Galaxy Nexus!”.
There is still no word about when AT&T, T-Mobile r Sprint customers will be able to get the Galaxy Nexus. So it looks like Canada is once again, a step ahead of us when it comes to major phone releases.
