If you’re looking forward to the HTC One S landing on T-Mobile but don’t want to sign a new contract, prepare to open up your wallet. The HTC One S is now listed on T-Mobile’s website with a suggested retail price of $600. For those of you who don’t mind the saving, expect the One S to sell for around $199 on a 2-year contract.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase it just yet. The phone is set to be announced in a few hours at an event in New York City. Although no official launch date has been set, the phone is rumored to launch on April 25. As a matter of fact, some stores have already started to receive their dummy units.
As a reminder, the HTC One S features a powerful 1.5GHz SnapDragon S4 processor, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Sense 4.0, a large 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with qHD resolution, 1GB of RAM, 16GB storage, a fast 8-megapixel camera with f2.0 aperture and 28mm lens in the back and front-facing camera, and much more.
The phone is only 7.95mm thin and is HTC’s thinnest phone. When it launches on T-Mobile, it will be T-Mobile’s thinnest 4G phone.
