CTIA hasn’t even started yet and Sprint did not waste time leaking some of their upcoming releases. We all have been hearing about the famous HTC View 4G and you better hold your seat because the 7 inch tablet with a 1024 x 600 capacitive touch screen sis going to be release. The HTC View 4G will be packed in an aluminum unibody design, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4000 mAh battery, HTC scribe with pen support (optional), HDMMI out and DLNA.
We also learned the Motorola Xoom is also planned to be released on Sprint which will identical to the Verizon version but will be compatible with the WIMAX network. Prices for Xoom have not been announced yet but we figured that they will be similar to the Verizon one.
The Motorola Atrix 4G and the HTC Thunderbolt better watch out because Sprint is going to announce the HTC EVO 3D. Are you ready for this? The HTC EVO 3D is going run Android Gingerbread 2.3 along with HTC Sense UI and will have the following specs:
- 4.3″ qHD 960 x 450 Autostereoscopic 3D display
- 1.2GHz Qualcomm 8660 Snapdragon CPU
- 1GB ROM
- 4GB of RAM
- 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
- 1730 mAh battery
- 1080p HDMI output and 720p 3D output (YouTube 3D and Blockbuster 3D will be included)
Along with all these great devices, Sprint will announce the Rant 3G and eco friendly messaging phone made by Samsung which will have a feature to allow the use of solar energy to recharge using the battery door. Add to all of this cool stuff, the release of the upcoming Blackberry Playbook in both WIMAX and WIFI versions.
