Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II for Android launches in the Play Store with Tegra 3 optimization

SEGA has finally announced the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode II at the Play Store. If you are a fan of the game, you will not be disappointed by the quality of work that was put in in developing its mobile version. Not only it was made to play on Android 2.3 and higher devices but the game has also been optimized to play on Tegra 3 4-PLUS-1 quad-core phones and tablets.

If you happen to own the Asus Transformer Prime, Eee Pad 300 or the Acer Iconia A501, you will certainly enjoy console-like graphics, higher quality lighting and great sound quality (check pictures above for the difference between HD and non-HD graphics). Not only you can play this game in the single player mode but you can also play with a buddy of yours in co-op using Bluetooth on your tablets/phones.

If you aren’t able to experience the Tegra-3-optimized Sonic 4 THD, NVIDIA got you covered. They are holding the NVIDIA Players Choice Awards sweepstakes where you get to vote for your favorite Tegra games and win one of seven ASUS Transformer Pad 300 tablets, a Logitech wireless controller and a Jawbone JAMBOX. It is very simple to enter, all you have to do is go here and vote.
