Skype for Android gets updated to version 2.5 — adds video support and enhancements for an additional 14 devices

The Skype for Android app was updated to version 2.5 today. The update brings video support to an additional 14 devices, a number of enhancements, and advertising. The 14 new devices that Skype now supports for video calling are listed below. With this update, the total number of devices that can now use video chat on Skype grow to 41.

  • Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V

  • Motorola Xoom
  • Motorola Atrix
  • Acer Iconia

In addition to supporting 14 new devices, the new Skype also brings video enhancements, improved support for bluetooth headsets, bug fixes, and the introduction of the advertising platform. Check out the list of all the new features below.
