Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 hits the FCC, on track for “early summer” release

Guess which device made its appearance at the FCC? If you guessed the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, you’re right! I’m really excited about this one because after having both 7-inch and 10.1-inch tablets, I think that an 8.9-inch tablet would be the perfect fit for me.

The 8.9-inch model of the Galaxy Tab is now know as GT-P7310, according to FCC papers. It will feature a 1GHz dual-core processor 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB models, front and rear-facing cameras and much more. The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is set to be released in “early summer”. There’s no specific date announced. If you’re looking forward to the 10.1-inch model, that will be available on June 8.
