Now that the Samsung Galaxy S III has been announced for the major carriers in the U.S, it’s time for each carrier to announce pricing and availability for the phone. In addition to T-Mobile making an announcement, Verizon Wireless has also gone ahead and divulged some pricing information for their variant of the Galaxy S III.
Pre-orders for the device will begin on Wednesday, June 6 at 7AM eastern time. The phone will start at $199 for the 16GB model and will go up to $250 for the 32GB model. Both the pebble blue and white models will be available for customers to choose from. Of course, these prices are for new accounts or upgrades with a 2-year contract and a 4G LTE data plan.
Unfortunately, we still don’t have an official release date from Verizon. Based on the other carrier’s release date, we can expect the Verizon Galaxy S III to launch on June 21 for a simultaneous launch between the carriers in the U.S.
