It looks like Australia will join Germany as the second country where Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 sale has been halted due to the legal ramblings with Apple. No too long, a German judge parted with the Cuppertino-based company and decided to uphold the preliminary injunction which froze the marketing and sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Samsung has already agreed to provide Apple with samples of the Australian version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 about seven days prior to the release date, only to hear Apple’s Australian lawyer say that “the new model has, at least compared with the US version, some reduced functionality that changes the landscape to a limited extent.” And not too long ago, the Korean phone maker has said yes to refraining from selling or advertising its GTab 10.1 in Australia before September 30. The next hearing has been set to take place on September 26 and 29. Samsung expects that the court decision will get overturned once it shows its side of the story.
