Rogers to launch 4G LTE service in more Canadian markets by October 1

Rogers is getting ready to expand its 4G LTE service throughout Canada. In a blog post on their Redboard blog, Rogers announced that it was planning on blanketing more Canadian cities with fast 4G LTE service by October 1.

Cities that will be graced with 4G LTE service by the first of October are:

  • Kingston
  • Edmonton
  • Quebec City
  • Oakville
  • Burlington
  • London
  • Kitchner
  • Waterloo
  • Cambridge
  • Barrie

Overall, Rogers’ plan is to give 60% of the Canadian population access to their 4G LTE network by the end of the year.
