PSA: Nexus Player on sale in the Play Store $99, ships in 3 to 4 weeks

As promised, Google now has the Nexus Player available for purchase for $99 -shipping is $10 (ouch). In the same lines as Amazon’s Fire TV, the Nexus will on Android TV which should be available with Android Lollipop .

The Nexus Player sports an 1.8GHz Intel processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 802.11ac 2×2 WiFi connectivity, HDMI port and more. You will be able to cast your movies and music just like if you had a Chromecast. This means that you won’t need the dongle if you’re using this player.

Google estimates that the Nexus Player will ‘leave their warehouse in 3-4 weeks.’ It is officially set to launch on November 3 which means the estimate could definitely change. There is also the Nexus Player Controller for $40-it sold out very fast. Links are below.
