While we’re waiting for Motorola to officially announce the Moto 360, LG went ahead and introduced the G Watch R watch tonight. The Korean company is known for trying to be the first OEM to announce all types of products such as the curved displays on phones and TVs, and now, full circle smarwatches.
In terms of features, both smartwatches are pretty similar. The Moto 360 is rumored to sport a 1.5-inch LCD display with a 320 x 290 resolution, 512MB of RAM, Android Wear and Gorilla Glass. A leaked Best Buy listing added Wireless N connectivity, water resistance and a heart monitor to the list of features for the Moto watch. On the other hand, the G Watch R packs a 1.3-inch P-OLED display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, Snapdragon 400 processor, 410 mAh battery and Android Wear. The 360 is probably going to sell for $249 if their valuation is correct. The LG wearable will maybe go for around $229-$249.
If price is not an issue. Which one of these watches will you be getting?
