Sony has been looking to spice up its Xperia line of phones with a high-end dual-core model. Some pictures of that high-en dual-core Android phone have hit the net. The phone, which will probably called Nozomi LT26i or Xperia Arc HD, features a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch display with 1280 x 720 resolution, Android 2.3, front and rear-facing cameras, and many other unrevealed features.
It looks like the Xperia Arc HD has some led lights along the bottom that I think looks pretty cool. There’s no telling on the thickness of the phone, but judging from past Xperia models, this one should be pretty thin.
Since this phone is expected to replace the original Xperia Arc, which was announced in January 2011, we should be hearing more of this phone sometime in January, maybe during CES 2012 in Las Vegas.
The software running on the phone is Android 2.3 Gingerbread but there’s still plenty of time for this one to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Only time will tell.
For now, just enjoy the pictures. As soon as more info is available, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
