One lucky Logitech Revue owner receives Android 3.1 update

It looks like one lucky Logitech Revue owner has received the Android 3.1 update for Google TV on the Revue. The lucky user posted the above picture on the Logitech Revue forums on Logitech’s site. There’s no telling when the update will be pushed out to other users. The fact that one person already received it is a good sign though.

I should note that many people believe that this image is fake and that the forum poster is simply trolling Revue users who have been waiting for this update since it was announced back in May. I, personally, do not think that the picture is a fake. As a matter of fact, all exif data on the image indicate that it hasn’t be manipulated. After all, Logitech did say that the update was coming in a few weeks.

If you’re a Logitech Revue owner, I suggest you keep your eyes open for a system update. Once the Logitech Revue received its Android 3.1 update, the complete line of Google TV products will be up to date. The Sony Internet TV and Sony Internet TV Blu-Ray already received their upgrade not too long ago.
