Well folks, the Galaxy note 8.0 has officially been made official by the Samsung If you look at the pictures, it basically looks like an oversized Note 2. The reason why I am comparing to the Samsung phablet is that Note 8.0 owners will be able to make phone calls-in some countries-now it is even sillier to hold it up to your head to place a call. If the 10-inch tablets aren’t your thing, this tablet will definitely fit the bill.
As far as specs are concerned, the Note 8.0 will have:
- 8-inch WXGA 1280 x 800 display (189 ppi)
- Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean
- 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor
- 2GB of RAM
- 5-megapixel rear camera
- 1.3-megapixel camera
- 32/64GB internal storage options
- micro SD slot with up to 64GB of additional storage
- 4600 mAh battery
- WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n)
- S Pen
- IR blaster
One the best addition to the Note 8.0 is the ability to interact with the tablet’s soft keys using the S Pen which wasn’t available in the past Note models; awesome, isn’t it? The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available worldwide sometimes in Q2 of this year. There are no details about pricing. We’ll make sure to let you know once we hear something. So, who’s in for one?
