New Firefox for Android update brings support for Adobe Flash

The day that many die-hard Firefox fans on Android have been waiting for is finally here. Today, Mozilla released an update for its popular Firefox browser on Android that brings support for Adobe Flash. That’s right, you can finally have access to Flash on Firefox on your Android phone.

Unfortunately, Flash support isn’t available for everyone. Those with tablets and non-ICS Tegra 2 devices won’t be able to join the Flash party. I’ve personally have moved on and use Chrome as my default browser. Whenever I need to access Flash content, I simply fire up the stock browser.

In addition to bringing support for Adobe Flash, the latest Firefox update on Android also brings the following:

  • Redesigned user interface
  • Significant performance advancements
  • New start page

To download the update and to start enjoying Flash content, head over to the Google Play store now!
