Motorola prepping new soak test for Droid Bionic and it probably isn’t Ice Cream Sandwich

It looks like Motorola is getting ready to push out an update to “soak testers” of the Motorola Droid Bionic. While many would want this update to be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, it looks like it’s probably going to be the 5.9.902 update that we heard about back in mid-January. If any of the Motorola phones are going to be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich, the first to get the update will probably the flagship Droid RAZR.

The full change log of the 5.9.902 udpdate is listed below:

  • Remove VCast Music preload
  • Add Amazon MP3 app preload
  • Motorola Terms and Conditions screen automatically enables data collection/location details
  • Google security patch to block access to change Home panel icons
  • After factory reset, location consent screen shown on activation screen
  • Change “Terms and Condition” screen title to “Motorola Terms of Service”
