Motorola DROID Bionic release date now set for September

Sanjay Jha, Motorola’s CEO, publicly announced today, during an earning call, that the Motorola Bionic will be released sometimes in September. Might as well forget about the rumored August 4th release date and wait for something else. We cannot count how many times the Bionic 4G has been delayed and even “cancelled“.

We want to ensure that we deliver an exceptional consumer experience. Bionic will be the first device to deliver the combination of the power of LTE and a dual-core GHz processor. And it will be in the stores in September.

We are sure that Mr. Jha has disappointed many Motorola fans who have been patiently waiting for the Droid Bionic and we wouldn’t be surprised if they went looking somewhere else, maybe at the upcoming Galaxy S II. So, will anyone still hold out for the Bionic?
