(Update) Motorola Bootloader Encryption Cracked ?

Sorry Motorola, but this time you loose ! User @nenolod was able to crack Motorola signed bootloader and he also posted it on his twitter account.

@nenodol said that there is a vulnerability in how Motorola generated on the sections stored in the CDT. He also mentioned that Motorola, just like Sony on their PlayStation 3, forgot to add a random value to the signature to mask to the private key.

If you have an Atrix 4G, this may be  good news to hear and let’s (I) hope that it will be done soon.

Update: It looks like @nenolod didn’t really crack any Motorola bootloader and therefore the rumor is false.
