ITC rules in favor of Motorola, says that there were “no violations” of Apple pattents

The U.S. International Trade Commission has just delivered their preliminary ruling in the case of Motorola vs. Apple. It stated that Motorola Droid phones are not violating Apple’s patents.

The Cuppertino-based company first filed their complaint against Motorola back in October 2010, claiming that the Droid, Droid 2, Droid X and other devices were infringing some of their patents. while we are still in the preliminary stages of the case, this is a good sign that Motorola could win this one of many Android vs. Apple battles.
