We have talked about the Acer Iconia Tab A100 a couple of times already for being delayed because of Honeycomb compatibility issues with smaller screens. But according to Engadget, we might see the A100 tablet hitting the U.S. during the month of August, selling for $300.
Here is a quick reminder about the Iconia A100 tab specs:
- 7-inch 1024×600 display
- Tegra 2 1GHz dual-core processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8GB of internal space
- Front and Rear cameras
A “dual-release” of two Acer tablet, this summer, wouldn’t be out of the question. Both the A100 tablet and the A501, which is the 4G version of the previous A500 tablet, could hit U.S. shelves next month. For $300, the Iconia Tab A100 could be a better choice that the HTC Flyer or even the Nook.
