HTC schedules press event for November 3; is the HTC Rezound on the way?

It looks like HTC is getting ready to announce their latest phone, the HTC Rezound. The Taiwanese company has sent out invites to a number of media outlets for an event that is taking place on November 3 at 3PM in New York City.

Everyone is expecting HTC to announce the HTC Rezound, also known as the HTC Vigor. Of course, they could also be announcing other phones, or a completely different phone that they’ve been able to keep under the radar.

The HTC Rezound is expected to go on sale at Verizon Wireless on November 10. It features a 4.3-inch HD display, a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera, and Beats Audio technology.

It’s going to be a showdown of high-end Android phones on Verizon Wireless. All 3 power phones, the HTC Rezound, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and Droid RAZR are all rumored for a November 10 release.

There is no excuse what so ever as to why the public can’t get confirmed specs for the Vigor/Rezound. I don’t care if the phone has been “officially” released or not, we all know it’s coming. This is yet another reason why a portion of the tech population continues not to take Android seriously. Because releases are a joke and consumers get no respect. I’m not sure if it’s the carriers, the manufactures or the blogs but we must get more information and in a much more timely manner. Can someone please get us Rezound specs and try to assure the phone buying public that HTC as done everything possible to ensure we will not have another Thunderbolt on our hands.
